A vehicle number plate is usually dominated by black and white. However, Japan has four different color vehicle license plates. The color difference is based on several factors. A vehicle must use a license plate to be identified and tracked of its presence in case of loss or an unlawful case. An action plate license plate search  is also very permissible to do when it comes to vehicles that violate a particular legal case.

Each country does have characteristics of the vehicle license plate applicable in the country. However, in Japan there are four different color vehicle license plates. The four colors are white, yellow, black and green.

This color difference is based on several factors. Such as yellow and white ang used for private vehicle. The yellow number plate is usually used for small-sized cars with engine capacities below 66 cc. whereas, white numbered plates are used for private vehicles of slightly larger size.
Other colors are green, this color is used for public transport or bus and truck. And for black color, used for license plate number of vehicle of similar kind of pick up car. All these different colors are used for different types of vehicles. Japan does not equate all vehicle license plate colors to be easily identified according to its type.

For a combination plate number in Japan, they have a number plate consisting of a series of kanji and hiragana followed by numbers. For tourists who have just come to the country it is a bit difficult to read the license plate. However, the series of letters and numbers is actually easy to understand and read by people who come from the country.

A license plate is used to identify a vehicle and can track the vehicle in case of a particular case, especially with regard to the law. Thus, a vehicle that does not use license plates will normally be banned from being driven on the streets.
