Little Blue World SubmissionsWritten submissions include song interpretations, essays, prose, poetry, and Tori Stories. Artwork submissions include photographs and original artwork. All submissions must be the submitter's own original work, and may not have been previously published in North America. For further information about submitting your work to LBW, please read through the artwork submission guidelines and the written submission guidelines.
Artwork Submissions guidelinesLittle Blue World accepts Tori Amos-related artwork and photos from readers. At this time, we are able to print only black and white/grayscale artwork, although we are hopeful that we will have color capabilities in the future! All submitted artwork must be original, unpublished in North America, and may not incorporate other artwork or photos for which the artist does not have copyright permissions. Photos may only be submitted by the photographer, and should be shots taken either with Tori's explicit permission (such as at a photo shoot) or implicit permission (such as at public appearances, meet'n'greets, and concerts).
Page dimensions are 8 1/2 x 11" without bleed. Artwork may be sized down proportionally to fit available space; however, it will not be enlarged. Acceptable formats for artwork:
Note: As a general rule, photos and artwork that were scanned or designed for the Web are too low-resolution to reproduce well in print. Please submit at 300 dpi for grayscale and 600 dpi for raster line art without shading, if possible. We reserve the right to reject submissions that will not reproduce well. If you cannot meet these standards, we recommend sending your art to us as hard copy. Unacceptable formats: We are unable to accept artwork in any of the following formats:

Written Submissions guidelinesLittle Blue World, a quarterly fanzine dedicated to Tori Amos, is seeking Tori-inspired poetry, fiction and essays. Poetry and prose fiction might be about Tori or in the style of Tori. Essays are not limited to, but might cover such topics as an exploration of Tori's effect on your life, how you were introduced to Tori, an explication of one or more of Tori's songs, a review of a Tori web site, or a review of a Tori concert. Written submissions may run less than but not longer than three 8-1/2" x 11" pages with one-inch margins all around, in font no smaller than 12-point. For prose, this approximates 750 words. For best odds of publication of fiction, your entry may run less than but not longer than four 8-1/2" x 11" pages, approximately 1100 words. Little Blue World may make exceptions for longer prose and will serialize particularly good stories over two issues. For your submission to be considered, you must include the following statement (signed, if your submission is sent via postal mail): "I verify that the work I am submitting is original, mine, and has not been published in North America before." All submissions should include at the top your full name, your address, your e-mail address (if possible), your evening phone number, and a one-line bio, which may include a URL. This one-line bio would be included in publication. Any additional information that you would like to supply the stories and submissions editor can be presented in a cover letter.
Email submissions of fiction, poetry, and essays should be sent to the stories and submissions editor. All submissions should be sent as "plain text," "text" or "text with line breaks": in other words, not as Word or any other type of word processing document. You can easily convert any document to plain text by using the "save as" command on the file menu of most word processing programs. Snail mail submissions may be sent to:
