Little Blue World Online A Very Warm Welcome by JB Anderton

We knew it was only a matter of time before we would see a full concert release from Tori, and Welcome to Sunny Florida has met and surpassed many fans' expectations. For me, the visual experience has always been equally important as the aural experience when enjoying a Tori performance, and this new DVD is the ultimate concert experience in your own home -- and with no drunk or annoying fans around to ruin it for you!"

The Strange Days of 2001 by Rob Woiccak

A number of fans set out to make sure that all of the shows on the tour would be recorded. For the most part, that effort was successful and bootlegs of all but a few -- mostly European -- shows from the tour are being traded about amongst fans. Despite the common expectation that amateur audience recordings will sound bad, the majority of these recordings have very good sound as they were often recorded using rather expensive gear and are very listenable.

A Little Warm in Her Heart by Angela Bacon Reid

The show is an excellent outlet for musicians and a fun way for the audience to hear new interpretations of Tori's songs. Classical musicians do this all of the time! It's not unusual to have a concert dedicated to Mozart's music, for example. Having musicians perform the works of Tori Amos is a great way to honor an amazingly talented songwriter of our time.

Goddess Erupting by Kenya McCullum

As any blazing goddess can attest, raw emotion can make a girl hungry. Volcano goddess Pele is regularly offered food by Hawaiians in fear of incensing her. Comparably, Tori seemingly used food and drink to temper these difficult girls, while not stifling their need to erupt. As a result, the Dew Drop Inn tour gave Tori fans many yummy, hunger-inducing stories.

"Spark" Ignites a Fire by Steven Mcilroy

On April 28th, the "Spark" single was released, and I rushed out to purchase it. It was agony on the way home, as I was dying to listen to this track again. When I finally got home I ran to my room and played each track as loudly as possible on a constant loop. It was an out of body experience listening to these tracks. Even the b-sides were amazing.

Sounds from the Cold North by John Higdon

We review albums from Sigur Ros and Mogwai recommended by Tori. Both bands are often categorized by the term "post-rock". The music of each is heavily produced, built up from layers of sounds, combining simple patterns into a subtly complex amalgam. And, especially on the albums already mentioned, the result of this experimental production is a highly atmospheric soundscape that some will love just as much as some will loathe.

Far Too Sarcastic by Nadyne Mielke

Josh is a transvestite unlike any other: he thinks that he is Tori Amos. In the mockumentary, a group of student filmmakers follows Josh through Seattle. Mockumentary footage is interlaced with interviews with Josh's family, friends, and one misguided fan.

Having Thoughts of Marianne by Nadyne Mielke

While Rom was looking for an idea for a student film, a friend had recently experienced the loss of another friend who took her own life. Rom's friend said that Tori's song "Marianne" comforted him. Her friends' varying reactions to her suicide and the song "Marianne" inspired Rom to create a 14-minute film with the same title.

You Just Lift Your Lamp... I Will Follow by Raven M. Rogers

A lot of my friends knew what it meant to me to be finally giving her the stick. As I raised him up in the air over the barricades the whole entire meet and greet clapped and cheered. Tori was giddy like a little kid while grabbing him from me. She read my little note I wrote her on the staff and smiled. She really took a liking to him right away. He kept me company for a year, and I will miss him, but he belongs to Tori now.
