(Postal orders were required to be postmarked on or before 9/30/2008.) Your name were then automatically entered into the drawing! Order back issues, try a new subcription, extend an existing subscription or give a gift to a fellow fan. (Remember if you're feeling generous yourself to specify that you're giving a gift. We'll send our specially designed gift card to your gift recipient right away.) Official Rules
1. Acceptance of Official Rules. By entering this sweepstakes, you
agree to these official rules (the "Official Rules") and the decisions
of the editorial staff, whose decisions are final, in connection with
this sweepstakes.
2. Eligibility. This sweepstakes is offered and open to persons (1)
who are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry in this
sweepstakes, (2) who are able to supply Little Blue World with a legal
mailing address to which prizes may be delivered, and (3) who supply
Little Blue World with a telephone number and current, viable e-mail
address for purposes of notification. Staff of Little Blue World,
present or past, are not eligible for this sweepstakes. This
sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Entry into this
sweepstakes is your affirmation that you are legally eligible to
enter.
3. Sweepstakes Period. This sweepstakes begins on August 1, 2008 at
12:00 AM ET and ends at 11:59 PM ET on September 30, 2008.
4. Entry. No purchase is necessary to enter this sweepstakes. All
entries to the sweepstakes have an equal chance of winning. Each
person may enter the sweepstakes to a maximum of 5 times, through any
combination of the following:
(a) An entry to the sweepstakes will automatically by issued in the
name of anyone who places an order for purchase at

whether for him or herself or as a gift for another person. Anyone
who wishes to make a purchase without entering the sweepstakes may opt
out by including a comment to that effect with his or her order.
(b) An entry to the sweepstakes will automatically be issued in the
name of anyone who places an order for purchase through mail, either
for subscription or back issue, whether for him or herself or as a
gift for another person, in accordance with our printed or posted

St. Louis, MO 63158-2162 ATTN: Subscriptions. Anyone who wishes to
make a purchase without entering the sweepstakes may opt out by
including a comment to that effect with his or her order. Mailed
orders must be postmarked on or by September 30, 2008, to qualify.
(c) An entry to the sweepstakes will be issued in the name of anyone
who sends a 3"x5" postcard to the following address: Little Blue World
/ P.O. Box 2162 / St. Louis, MO 63158-2162 ATTN: Contest. The
postcard must include your legal name and your legal address,
including current e-mail address and phone number. Mailed entries
must be postmarked on or by September 30, 2008, to qualify.
5. Drawing/Odds/Winner Notification: On or about October 10, 2008, a
random drawing to select six prize winners will be held by the
subscription editor from all eligible entries in this sweepstakes.
Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries.
Potential prize winners will be notified by phone or by email. If the
potential prize winners cannot be reached after a reasonable effort
has been made during ten (10) business days from the first
notification attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an
alternate prize winner selected in accordance with these official
rules.
6. Prizes. The randomly awarded prizes in this sweepstakes consist
of the following:
Prizes will be mailed to prize winners within ten (10) business days
after contact has been made and eligibility confirmed. Prizes will be
drawn for in the order in which they are listed above. Each entrant
may win only one prize, the first prize for which his or her name is
drawn. No conversion to cash, cash redemption or substitution of the
prizes is permitted.
7. Publicity Release Terms. Except where prohibited by law, entry
constitutes permission for Little Blue World to release your name on
its website should your entry be selected as a winner. No other
personal information about you will be released.
8. Improper Conduct. Entrants who are discovered to be ineligible or
who falsify personal information as regards to name or address may be
disqualified from participation in this sweepstakes, at the sole
discretion of the editors of Little Blue World.
9. Integrity of Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is
not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer
virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud,
technical failures, or any other causes which the editors of Little
Blue World, in their sole opinion, deem could corrupt or affect the
administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of
this sweepstakes, Little Blue World reserves the right to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend this sweepstakes and select the prize
winners from entries received prior to the action taken.
10. Lost or Corrupted Entries. Little Blue World, its editors and
its staff assume no liability and are not responsible for, and you
hereby forever waive any rights to any claim in connection with, lost,
late, incomplete, corrupted, stolen, misdirected, illegible or postage
due entries or mail if applicable; or for any computer, telephone,
cable, network, satellite, electronic or Internet hardware or software
malfunctions, unauthorized human intervention, or the incorrect or
inaccurate capture of entry or other information, or the failure to
capture any such information. Little Blue World, its editors and its
staff are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information,
whether caused by registration information submitted by end users or
tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming
associated with or utilized in this sweepstakes, and assume no
responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line
failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the
sweepstakes.
11. Sweepstakes Errors. Little Blue World, its editors and its staff
assume no liability and are not responsible for, and you hereby
forever waive any rights to any claim in connection with, errors
and/or ambiguity: (a) in the sweepstakes; (b) in any related
advertising or promotions of this sweepstakes; and/or (c) in these
Official Rules. In the event of any ambiguity(s) or error(s) in these
Official Rules, Administrators reserve the right to modify these
Official Rules for clarification purposes or to correct any such
ambiguity or error(s) without materially affecting the terms and
conditions of the sweepstakes.
12. Release and Indemnity. Each entrant in this sweepstakes,
including, without limitation, the prize winners, hereby releases and
agrees to hold harmless Little Blue World, its editors and its staff
from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any
kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in
part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or
misuse of the prizes, participation in this Sweepstakes and
participation in any activity related to this Sweepstakes. Please do
not kill yourself with our prizes. If you do, it's not our fault.
13. Limitation of Liability. In no event will Little Blue World, its
editors and its staff be responsible or liable for any damages or
losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental,
consequential or punitive damages arising out of your access to and
use of the sweepstakes or the downloading from and/or printing
material downloaded from the sweepstakes. Some jurisdictions may not
allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or
consequential damages or exclusion of implied warranties, so some of
the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. Check your

14. Disclaimer of Warranties. The sweepstakes is provided "as is,"

15. Identity Disputes. In the event of a dispute as to the identity

16. Arbitration. The parties waive all rights to trial in any action
or proceeding instituted in connection with these Official Rules
and/or this sweepstakes. Any controversy or claim arising out of or

settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial
arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such
controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and

controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in
the State of Missouri, in the City of St. Louis, and judgment on the
arbitration award may be entered into any court having jurisdiction

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction. This promotion is governed by US
law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and

concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and
enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations
of entrant and administrators in connection with this Sweepstakes,
shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of
the State of Missouri, U.S.A., without giving effect to the conflict
of laws rules thereof, and any matters or proceedings which are not
subject to arbitration as set forth in Section 21 of these Official
Rules and/or for entering any judgment on an arbitration award, shall
take place in the State of Missouri, City of St. Louis.
